Meet Cassandra & Mac

Tulsa Franchise Owners

Cassandra and Mac are lifelong Oklahomans and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They love family game nights, where chess takes center stage alongside a growing collection of board and tabletop role-playing games. They believe every child deserves access to engaging educational experiences that build confidence, critical thinking, and perseverance, all while having fun.

When searching for a way to teach their then three-year-old daughter how to play chess, Cassandra and Mac discovered Story Time Chess and immediately connected with its story-driven approach and philosophy. They saw firsthand how the curriculum transforms chess into an exciting adventure that keeps young children engaged while developing important life skills like sportsmanship, logical thinking, focus, and resilience. Inspired by the positive impact Story Time Chess had on their own family, Cassandra and Mac are thrilled to bring Story Time Chess's award-winning curriculum to Tulsa. They are passionate about creating a welcoming community where children can discover a lifelong love of chess, build meaningful skills, and experience the joy of learning through play.

FAQ's

From schedules to sign-ups, here are the most common questions parents ask us about our lessons. Still curious? Head to our FAQ page for the full scoop.

How can I register my child for school-based programs?
Most school programs are registered through your school or PTA. If we’re not there yet, email tulsa@storytimechess.com to bring us in!

Do you partner with schools?
Yes! We partner with schools, libraries, and learning centers to bring engaging, curriculum-aligned enrichment programs.

Is there a commitment for school sessions?
If for any reason you do not wish to continue after the first lesson we will refund you in full. So the first lesson is very much like a trial lesson in this regard. Please note that after the second lesson we consider this a commitment and the full semester is non-refundable.

Who do I contact about school partnerships?
Email tulsa@storytimechess.com or call (847) 922-7673 (Mon–Fri, 9am – 5pm EST).
